Sasha is a young vampire with a serious problem: she's too sensitive to kill. When her exasperated parents cut off her blood supply, Sasha's life is in jeopardy. Luckily, she meets Paul, a lonely teenager with suicidal tendencies who is willing to give his life to save hers. But their friendly agreement soon becomes a nocturnal quest to fulfil Paul's last wishes before day breaks.
Ariane Louis-Seize is a Montreal-based filmmaker. She debuted as a director with her short film Wild Skin (2016), a fantastic drama that has traveled to more than fifty festivals around the world and has won numerous awards and nominations. She then filmed Little Waves (2019), selected for the Berlinale. Ariane next wrote and directed The Depths (2019), followed by Shooting Star (2020), both premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. With this last short film, Ariane has won a dozen awards around the world. Humanist Vampire Seeking Consenting Suicidal Person is her first feature film.
