Lara is a highly tormented woman, torn between science and faith, who is losing her mind. Her husband, desperate and in search of a cure, pushes her to undergo treatment from a congregation of religious fanatics. There she will meet an alcoholic and ruthless exorcist who will try to save her soul by subjecting Lara to brutal exorcism sessions.
