Linda is unfairly punished by her mother, Paulette, who will do anything to make it up to her daughter–even if that means making chicken with peppers, despite not knowing how to cook! But how are you supposed to buy a chicken during a general strike?
Chiara Malta was born in Rome in 1977 and has lived in Paris since 2002. With a degree in film studies from the University of Rome, her documentary Armando et la politique (2008) opened the Turin festival. Screenwriter and director of numerous short films that combine archival images, animation and live action, her first fiction feature film, Simple Women (2019), was presented at the Toronto festival.
Director, illustrator, and professor, Sébastien Laudenbach has written a dozen award-winning short films selected by numerous international festivals, as well as credit packages and music videos. His feature film The Girl Without Hands (2016), presented at Cannes, was awarded at the Annecy International Animation Festival.
