GARY SHERMAN
Director, writer and producer, began his career in Chicago with The Legend of Bo Diddley (1966). Then London, England for 10 years, Los Angeles for over 25 years and has now brought two TV series home. Among his more than a dozen feature length films, three are considered classics: Death Line (1972), recently named by BFI as one of the Ten Great British Films by an American Director, Dead and Buried (1981) and Vice Squad (1982). He also directed Poltergeist III (1988), Wanted: Dead or Alive (1987) and Lisa (1989). Network TV series credits include ABC’s Missing Persons (1993–1994), Showtime’s Poltergeist: The Legacy (1997) and A&E’s The First 48: Missing Persons (2011).
