Sinopsis

A mother lives quietly with her twenty-eight-year-old son until a girl is brutally murdered and he is charged with the killing. Now, it’s his mother’s call whether to prove him innocent or to leave him imprisoned.

Bong Joon Ho

Born in Daegu, South Korea in 1969. He debuted in 2000 with the black comedy Barking Dogs Never Bite that went discreetly through his country’s box office. Three years later he achieved his first great success, both in South Korea and internationally, with the magnificent thriller Memories of Murder (2003). His successful career continued with The Host (2006), Mother (2008), Snowpiercer (2013), Okja (2017) and last year he released Parasite with which he has definitely established himself as a successful filmmaker worldwide after getting 4 Oscars in the last American Film Academy Awards ceremony, including the best film and director.
