Sinopsis

Following her aunt’s death, Pauline and her two daughters inherit a house. But during their first night there, murderers enter the house and Pauline must fight to save her daughters’ lives. A tragedy that will traumatize the whole family but especially affect differently each of the girls whose disparate personalities will diverge further after this nightmarish night. While Beth becomes a renowned author specializing in horror literature, Vera gets bogged down in destructive paranoia. Sixteen years later, the family is reunited in the house. Pascal Laugier

French director and scriptwriter who debuted in 2004 with House of Voices. His second feature film Martyrs (2008) made him one of the great names in new European horror. In 2012 he presented The Tall Man.
